The Sunshine Quest - A Bib Story

Once upon a time
Not really all that very long ago
In a land of constant rain
Gloominess and sorrow

Lived a tiny bibble.

But what's a bibble
You might wonder;
Its origin you may ponder.

Well - the tiny bibble was no local
To that shadowy, rainy land
She was raised under vast blue skies
Where the sea kisses the sand.

Yet the tiny bibble found no joy
In the azure skies above.
She paid little attention to the sunshine
Or the golden sands she'd known.

She longed for something she couldn't quite place
So
She packed her bag; ready for the chase.
Off to the rainy land she marched
Only to find
More of empty space.

But little did she know
That was all about to change.

For in that land of darkened skies
She'd meet another bibble
(A big one!)
Much to her surprise.

It was new, but somehow not at all
Like a tune she'd always known
Their hearts greeted each other
"It's me. It's you. Welcome home!"

And they held each other's hand
Even when all was still unknown.
The tiny bib got back her sunshine
And her heart began to glow.

Yet the big bib was often troubled
With what the future could hold.
He wasn't quite sure
About how things might unfold.

"But what would happen"
Asked the big bib one day
"If someone were to go?
Would this all just disappear
Would the bibs be no more?

The tiny bibble smiled
Tilting slightly her head
She held his hand in hers
Took a deep breath
And said:

"Don't be silly
Big ol' bib
That is not how it's meant to go.

Because true love, you see, well ... that never really goes.
You'll carry me with you
In all those places I'll never see
And in people I will never know"

"I'll share with you the sunshine, the moonlight or the waves
And walk beside you in darkness and the heaviest of rains.
I'll be a part of you"
The little bib explained
"Wherever you might go.

So take a deep breath
And just
Let go.

Let go of all the worries
Troubling your bibble head
I will love you always
No matter what lies ahead.”
